The Latest Unlocked Cell Phones

If you want your new iPhone unlocked/jailbroken, it can now be done. Software has been developed that can unlock your cell phone, making your iPhone 4S super versatile.

Just don't do it yourself. Whether you got your phone for free, or forked over cash, unlocking your iPhone is risky business. You run the risk of "bricking" the phone, or renendering it useless (a brick). If you want a jailbroked iPhone, send it in to a professional, who knows how to do it without bricking the phone, and might offer a warranty.

Why have an unlocked cell phone? You can use it on any network. And when you bring it in, you can negotiate your service, rather than sign a contract and agree to all the associated fees. Unlocked cell phones also make a great holiday gift, since the recipient can use it with any GSM network by sliding in their old SIM card.

Now that the iPhone 4S is unlocked, you can use it on any network, including T-Mobile, the only one not to caryy the iPhone 4S. If you don't like Sprint (which has the only unlimited plan) shop around by using unlocked cell phones.

How will you use your unlocked cell phone?
