What Great Apps Have You Discovered On Your Used iPod?
Although the Apple app store is renowned for some of the programs it's brought to the world (from the useful—educational games—to the fun—angry birds—to the odd—keeping track of bowel movements), its also know for being protected by an iron gate. It takes several months before an app is approved for the Apple store, and that's IF it gets approved. (This mentality also lead many people to jailbreak, or unlock, their used iPods and iPhones).
You may have an unlocked used iPod, iPhone, or iPad, and that's probably given you some good software benefits, but one financial app has proved that the best apps may not come from the app store.
Apple is also notorious for not using, or allowing, flash. One of the reasons people unlock used iPods, etc. is to mod them with flash.
Now, the Financial Times, after leaving Apple in dispute of the amount of money it takes for carrying apps, launched an HTML 5 version of their site. HTML 5 is currently replacing flash all over the inernet, and it's certainly proved to be a handy app for them, its use has exceeded their previous app-store version app.
What are the best apps you've found for your used iPods, etc.?
Do you shop for used iPod apps in Apple's store, or across the web?
