Apple Ruining Phone Contracts?
We are on the eve of the announcement of the iPhone 5 for the Sprint network. While some look forward to an improved camera as well as processing speed, others were giddy that Sprint was getting its turn. A smaller company, Sprint was the last standing carrier with an everything plan.
But in anticipation of the iPhone 5, Sprint is expected to cut back on its everything plan, a la AT&T and Verizon. It's already upped its termination fee.
What's a girl to do?
Used ipods, used iphones, used ipads. Fight the man. Used iphones are often unlocked, or you can enjoy the best part of an iPhone (the apps) with a wireless enabled used ipod, skipping the worst part of iPhones (shitty, expensive cell phone service!).
Unlocked cell phones, which most used iphones are, and other used gadgets like refurbished ipods, often have these benefits. Not to mention, you support small businesses, save yourself money, and avoid getting yanked around by carriers and exclusivity. If you want the iPhone 5 but are locked into another network from your last iPhone purchase, try waiting for it to hit the used iPod, iPhone, iPad market!
Plus, refurbished ipods and iphones still gave you that swanky, sleek Apple look!
What are you expectations for the iPhone 5?
