Ways To Save On iPods, iPads & More
You may already be familiar to the first step of saving money on electric devices: buy used. iPods, iPads, and iPhones are way cheaper when you buy them used, which is often the only way to get an older model. Used iPods, etc., are one of the best used bargains out there: Apple users tend to be early adopters, so when their iPod is suddenly available in blue, they hock it and upgrade, even though it may have only seen less than 6 months of use! Suddenly, that little iPod is reborn as a used iPod, bringing you savings, and a sweet "new" gadget!
But there are other ways to save, and to trick out your used iPod or other sweet iToy:
1) Buy the most popular games when they go on sale! Right now, you can load your used iPod up with Plants vs. Zombies (a personal recommendation…that game is addicting!), for less than it's normal retail price. There are always games and apps on sale, so keep your eye out on your used iPod/iPhone!
2) Buy used accessories, or off-brand accessories. Many Apple accessories don't do much more than prevent scratches; why not pick up cheaper used accessories for your used iPod/iPad, and (guilt free, since they're cheaper) personalize them? Or take some of the money you saved and buy a really cool one (make your used iPhone look retro! etc.).
3) When you're done, find an awesome buy back program. Put the money you get into a "new" used iPod or iPhone!
