Are Apps More Important Than Features?
It seems that more and more studies are rating phones based on the number of apps, and app support, they have. If apps are more important than features, than used cell phones are an even more resourceful choice!
Used cell phones offer the same great apps as their new counterparts. Most new cell phones focus on improving features-adding a camera to the front, changing what direction the keyboard slides, changing how you interact with the touchscreen. Although some upgrades can eventually be worthwhile, a crisper, brighter screen, or faster processing, in general you can get very similar performance from used cell phones.
Used cell phones are also often unlocked or jailbroken, so you can remove the weight of unnecessary apps the carrier loaded on (in general unlocked cell phones perform faster). Finally, at the price of a used cell phones, you can update your phone more frequently. Want to be fickle? Used cell phones allow you to responsibly use, then recycle, the hottest cell phone trends. You can even go old school and keep an extra used cell phon in your car; just you Google voice to have the same number on both phones!
What are your favorite apps? Do you use more game apps, info apps, or business apps?
