Use It And Lose It?

Hundreds if not thousands of people completely lose or misplace their cell phone everyday! Not to mention with the rising cost of the newest smart phones, there are plenty who won't hesitate to steal cell phones.

A new study has examined what the best, and worst, places to lose your cell phone are:

  • Purses are probably the most common place to lose cell phones, but also the most likely place you'll get them back from!
  • Taxis and bars are among the worst places to lose cell phones, since they're likely to either be innocently confused for another's cell, or stolen!
  • Pool's may top the list as the worst place to lose your cell phone: even if the odds of getting it back are good, it's not likely to work!

If you're someone who chronically loses their cell phones, try buying used cell phones instead! You can get reasonably new models among the selection of used cell phones at a fraction of the price. Plus, it cuts the replacement cost of losing cell phones down considerably (about $150, if you resign your contract-HELLO hidden fees! Otherwise up to $600). Used cell phones can cost as little as $30, but tend more toward $100.

Plus, you'll cut the guilt. Instead of wasteing a brand new cell phone, used cell phones have likely already had a good life, and you've extended that life buy buying used cell phones!
