Samsung is not making 3D phones...yet.

3D is all the rave, it's infecting movies, Nintendo, and your home television. Some companies are even putting it on cell phones, so if you haven't used cell phones with 3D yet, you probably will.

Samsung, one of the leaders in developing 3D devices, is waiting until more people have used cell phones with 3D (and there is a demand) before jumping into the market.

Most people (especially in older demographics) have not used cell phones for TV, web browsing or gaming, and so beyond the novelty of 3D, there's little room to expand the use of these services as those who have not used cell phones for those non-calling functions will not likely be drawn in by the addition of 3D.

On the other hand, as people have used cell phones for more and more purposes and less for calling, there might be a future for 3D cell phones as the smart phone market broadens, and continues to capitalize on people who have used cell phones for only a few months before upgrading to the latest trend.

If you like upgrading to the latest and greatest, consider buying used cell phones to save money!
