Small Businesses and Used Blackberry Cell Phones

In the current economic climate all businesses, whether large or small, are looking for ways to cut costs and increase staff productivity while avoiding negatively impacting their bottom line or their ability to function in an effective and efficient manner.

However, those same businesses are also looking for ways to improve their use of technology, especially in the communication arena.  With the advances in technology that make it more possible to conduct business away from the office, it can be largely beneficial for small businesses to invest in cell phones for employees that are email and internet capable.  This is so true that the Blackberry has almost become synonymous with business and improved productivity.

However, given the skyrocketing prices of phones like the Blackberry, equipping an entire staff with these phones can get expensive.  Sure, cellular providers offer discounts on the purchase of some new phones, but those typically only apply to people or companies that sign on for long-term contracts.  Should you need to cancel a line (such as if an employee leaves), you'll be subjected to some steep early cancellation fees.

Thus, a number of companies are beginning to find the benefits of equipping their staff with refurbished cell phones.

A refurbished Blackberry, one that has been tested and completely “overhauled” by the manufacturer, makes a lot more financial sense. No only can the refurbished Blackberry be purchased at a greater cost savings, it can assist small business owners in avoiding signing those lengthy and restrictive contracts while allowing staff to increase productivity.

If you're worried that you'll only be able to find older models of phones in the refurbished market, don't.  Savvy shoppers will have no problem finding the newest Blackberry phones available in the refurbished market…for about 50% less than it would cost to buy brand new.

Additionally, all used cell phones sold as officially "refurbished" must pass a set of tests to ensure full functionality, so there is no need to be concerned that you'll get a "lemon" that was returned and never fixed.  The phone will be clean, fully functional, and free of any records of past use.  In the end, it really isn't much different than a new phone, except it is cheaper.

Thus, small business owners in the market for a refurbished TMobile Blackberry can shop for their refurbished device with complete confidence.
